What are groups at MCC?

We believe that we are called to love one another. Love doesn’t happen in isolation; love happens in community. And groups are the primary place that we experience community at Maryland. Groups are where we learn more about who God is, voice our doubts and questions, experience support of other Christians and build the connections that help us to do life with one another.

Now is a great time to find a small group!

We are launching our Winter Groups the week of February 2nd. This will be a great time for learning and growth for people, whether you are new to faith or have been following Jesus for a long time. In your small group, you will be able to learn, take steps closer to Christ, as well as have fun and build lasting relationships.

Finding a group at MCC is easy.

Here are 3 great ways to find a group:

1. Search OPEN GROUPS HERE. This will take you to all the existing groups. You can sort by campus, meeting time, or life stage to find a group that will fit for you. More groups will continue to be added as we get closer to February 2nd.

2. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Click the button to fill out a form that gives more info on what you are looking for and allows for MCC staff to help identify a group that might be a good fit for you.

3. Click LEAD A GROUP. Can't find the perfect group? You can always start it! We would love to talk with you about what it looks like to start a small group at MCC. We will provide training and everything that is needed to facilitate a small group.
