What is prayer ministry?

Prayer is more than just a spiritual practice; it's the heartbeat of our community. We believe in the transformative power of prayer to connect us with God, to bring comfort in times of need, and to usher in His presence in every aspect of our lives.

Prayer is more than just words spoken; it's a lifeline that strengthens our faith, unites us in fellowship, and empowers us to walk boldly in God's purpose for our lives. It's through prayer that we seek His wisdom, find healing for our hurts, and intercede on behalf of others.

Prayer is more than a specific time or place; it's woven into the fabric of who we are. From our Sunday services to our weekly gatherings and special prayer events, we prioritize seeking God's face together.

As we embrace the power of prayer at Maryland Community Church, we've witnessed miracles, experienced breakthroughs, and seen lives transformed by the hand of God. It's our firm conviction that prayer is not just an activity; it's the key to unleashing God's power and experiencing His presence in extraordinary ways.

Below are some specific opportunities to step into the power of prayer at MCC. Join us as we continue to journey together in prayer, believing for greater things and trusting in the faithfulness of our Father!

Prayer Requests

Have a prayer need or a burden on your heart? You can share your prayer requests with us through our online form:

Additionally, stay connected in prayer by downloading the Echo Prayer App on your phone, where you can also pray for others in our community. Just search "Maryland Community Church" in the feeds to find our prayer channel.

Sundays

During our Sunday services, our dedicated Altar Prayer Team is here for you. Located at the front of the sanctuary during worship, these caring individuals are available to pray with you; whether you're an individual, couple, or family. They can help you take the next steps of committing your life to Christ, praying for others or anything that the Lord is calling you to pray. You can also join us in the Prayer Room at 9am and 10:45am to pray for the services and encounter God's presence with this team.

The Waiting Room

The Waiting Room will be available on the second Tuesday of each month, for a time of quiet prayer and simple worship, beginning at 7pm in the Prayer Room at Highway 46. You can come and go over this one hour or stay the whole hour, whatever works for you. We will be waiting on the Lord and the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us as the body of Christ.

Tuesday Morning Weekly Prayer

Start your Tuesday mornings right with our inter-generational weekly prayer gathering. Every Tuesday from 9:30am to 11am at the Highway 46 Campus Prayer Room, people of all ages come together to pray, share, and encounter the Lord in community. Whether you're seeking spiritual renewal, guidance, or simply a space to connect with others in prayer, you're welcome to join us.
