As a church, we are continuing to look for ways to make an impact in our community. This summer we have partnered with the United Way and over 60 local non-profits that are doing good in the Wabash Valley for Serve the Valley. Over the weekend of July 27 and 28, we will have over 1000 opportunities to serve and show God's love. We invite you to join us for a morning to serve our community, get to know our neighbors, and learn more about how different non-profits are serving the overlooked.
With such a wide variety of opportunities, here are a few recommendations for helping an MCC mission partner or will have an MCC representative at the project.
Friday, July 27 (8:30-Noon)
Mosaic - Help clean and organize for program that serves those with intellectual and developmental disabilities*
Saturday, July 28 (8:30-Noon)
Kid Kare Project (Clinton) - Organize and clean after moving to new building*
Marshall Food and Clothing - Help paint the outside of the food and clothing pantry in Marshall
Ryves Up! -- Help with garden clean up for program that teaches gardening and provides food for inner-city youth and families*
Sprouts Childcare -- Improve the curb appeal by staining fence and porches for a daycare in West Terre Haute
